About Sarah
I’ve been writing in higher ed for the last seven years, and I started my career at Scholastic in editorial. In the years in between, I was an arts administrator at a NYC music school and worked in local and federal government in DC while pursuing my master’s degree in public administration.
I’ve worked on everything from New York Times bestselling children’s books to government reports to speeches and board presentations. I’m skilled at translating academic writing into accessible language for decision makers and laypeople. I’m a quick study when it comes to new topics, I build and maintain relationships with warmth and ease, and I turn around work quickly. I’m also great at assessing needs and identifying pain points, whether we’re discussing a writing project or organizational challenges and opportunities.
